The Wiener Library was founded in Amsterdam 1934 by Dr Alfred Wiener to document Nazi policy towards the Jews. Since 1939 the Library has been in London, collection material on the Holocaust, its causes and consequences. The Library has an ever-growing archive of ca. 1350 catalogued document collections including family papers detailing persecution and aryanisation, exile and restitution. The Library also holds books and pamphlets, periodicals, photographs, press cuttings and audio-visual material. Document descriptions, the catalogue for printed collections and about 1000 photographs are available online.
