Clio-online is a project funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (German Research Society). It offers for historians a central access point to different forms of information. Especially worth mentioning is the forthcoming meta search interface which gives access to a broad range of databases and library catalogues of German research institutions and libraries and covers all fields of academic history.
