Deutsche Auswanderer-Datenbank

The Deutsche Auswanderer-Datenbank (DAD) is a research project of the Historisches Museum Bremerhaven/Morgenstern Museum in which gradually all available data about emigrants who emigrated to the United States of America primarily from German ports between 1820 and 1939 is being collected. The site gives an overview of the project and provides some additional information, such as emigration statistics and data of emigration ships. The database currently holds data for the periods 1850-1891, 1904, and 1907. Online access is not provided.
