"Centropa is the signature project of the Central Europe Center for Research and Documentation, a US-based non-profit corporation (Federal Tax ID 58-1970-134) with its headquarters in Vienna, Austria. We are an international team of historians, filmmakers, web designers, journalists, educators, photographers and Jewish community activists. Our goal is to create a window into Jewish history, and current events, in Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. [...] Our largest project is Witness to a Jewish Century, a searchable online library of Jewish family pictures, and the memories that go with them."
