"The Society brings together people involved in the field regardless of their specific professional engagement; everyone with a serious interest in this part of history can became its member. The Society is headed by an elected committee and chairperson, its highest authority is the plenary assembly. Members can take part in sections (focused on scientific disciplines—e. g. history of pharmacology, of medicine etc.), and (above all) in branches constituted in Brno, Hradec Králové, Olomouc, Plzeň and Ústí nad Labem; both organizing various activities, mostly lecture meetings."
