School of Engeneering [University of Greenwich]

"Engineering has been at the heart of this institution since its foundation in 1890. In 1910, our predecessor the Woolwich Polytechnic offered its first degrees in engineering, and the school has grown in size and reputation ever since. The relocation of the school in 1997 to the prestigious Medway campus, and the significant investment in new facilities there, have enabled us to successfully meet the ever-changing requirements of engineering, with programmes that reflect the needs of industry - locally, nationally and internationally. A key strength is that the fields of computer and communications engineering, civil engineering, electronic engineering, mechanical engineering, product design and engineering management are all accessible within one school."
