Historische Demographie II [Historical Demography] uses the combination of CD-Rom and World Wide Web. The CD-ROM contains images of and basic information on the votive tablets of Sammarei, a church of pilgrimage in Ortenburg, close to Passau in lower Bavaria. This site is meant as a bridge between CD-ROM and web, offering additional information on the subject and keeping the CD-ROM up to date. Moreover, this site informs about the research project on Bavarian and Austrian votive tablets.
